I was thinking of going to the High Tatras for Easter, but will there be any hiking paths that are open? Or will there be snow (maybe for cross country skiing).

BIG RESPECT.
I definitelly support your journey and trully exiting opportunity to come closer to (speaking on behalf of slovakians) recognise the natural and cultural beauty of Slovakians part of CARPATHIAN MOUNTAINS. I live near to LOW C.M. north of capital and hiked it all across in diameter of 100km -it"s very sceneric if you are patient to explore. In my opinion this part is a bit underestimated comparing to that part you will enter according your plan map. I say Yes for this project. Good luck people.

i"ve passed some climbing areas on my hikes in slovakia. . . any climbers out there? i have sport/trad rack and all camping equipment. . . just no car (I have a MTB!!) and too often no partners for climbing. I"m in Trencin.

hiking with dog near Presov?
Hello! Does anyone know about hiking with dogs near Presov? The E-8 trans-European train passes near there. Is it the kind of hiking where you bring a tent and camp out? or do you stay in huts? If so, are dogs allowed? Thanks!
